Talk: «Cardiac Magnetic Resonance. Redefining the Limits of Cardiology.»

Speaker: Julian Vega Adauy. Cardiologist, specialist in cardiac imaging. Description: Cardiac imaging is the cornerstone of cardiology practice, allowing for precise diagnoses and therapies. Among the imaging techniques, cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (CMRI) is the only one that provides a comprehensive assessment of the heart, including the morphofunctional, hemodynamic and characterization tissue. Thanks to these qualities, CMR redefines the frontiers of Cardiology on a daily basis and positions itself as a “one-stop-shop” alternative for all cardiac pathology.

Through clinical cases I will share my experience in advanced cardiac imaging training at the Hospital CLINIC of Barcelona, center that has an avant-garde RNM 3.0 Tesla cardio-dedicated, making modern commercial and experimental sequences on a daily basis, together with various research protocols.

Finally, it will be exposed how this technique will manage to redefine the Cardiological practice in the near future.
