Talk: “How To Move From Academia To Industry”

Speaker: Catalina Arteaga has a degree in Physics from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile; she then completed a Master in Biomedical Image Sciences and later a PhD in Medical Physics at the University of Utrecht in the Netherlands. Between 2015 and 2019 she was the head of the High Field Magnetic Resonance Unit at the University Medical Center Utrecht (UMCU) and from 2019 she is the operations manager of Tesla Dynamic Coils in the Netherlands. She has more than 20 publications in journals in the area of magnetic resonance, spectroscopy and image processing. She has moderated multiple ISMRM panels and was a member of the organizing committee of the ISMRM-Workshop at MR Spectroscopy in 2018.
